In 2022 and 2023, a lot of makeup and fashion tips and trends by key influencers have been going viral all over social media including Tiktok, YouTube, and Instagram. However, are all of them right? Are their tips beneficial? If you want to know more about the trendiest makeup and fashion looks, continue reading this blog so you can see the difference between the good, the bad, and the ugly.

First of all, makeup trends, hacks, and looks are all going viral, but let’s talk about the two looks that people all around the world tried and had different opinions about. The first trend I will discuss is the Meredith Duxbury Foundation trend. Ladies apply more than ten pumps of foundation and concealer with a lot of contour, blush, and highlighter on their faces. In between these steps, they blend the product with a beauty blender. The shocking thing about this is that she blends the foundation with her hands! Sounds disgusting! 


The second trend I will review is the “no-makeup makeup look”, which is also called “the clean girl” look. For this look, you stick your hair in a bun and apply a cute pink blush and some gloss. I know this may sound petrifying, but where would all those imperfections go? You may think, how would I cover them? However, the point is to look natural with a slight glow.

As for our fashion trends, parachute pants, cargo pants and oversized fits such as hoodies, t-shirts, and even sweatpants are booming nowadays. In fact, skinny jeans are even considered “old fashioned». In regard to colors, neutrals are the best colors to wear in Spring and Autumn seasons such as light pink and beige. In winter, navy blue, grey, and of course black were a necessity to look on trend this year. As for this upcoming summer season, keep your tan in mind, white, green, orange, and even sometimes baby blue is all the hype. Linen shirts, in all, will be the perfect item to complete your look. Thus, are available at all department stores around Lebanon. Let’s not forget the “how to make your dress look better”, or the “how to make your big jeans fit”, and the “crop your t-shirts tricks”.

Many people, from all over the world, tried these trends and tricks and have shared their experiences.

Let me share mine with you and tell you which ones are suitable for your skin type and body shape. For people with many imperfections, the Meredith Foundation trend is good for you, but in my opinion, it is a waste of products because the beauty blender absorbs most of them. If you have clear skin “the no makeup makeup look” in summer will be perfect. It is fresh and clean, nice and gorgeous, and surely natural. As for the fashion trends, I think that oversized fits and parachute pants are really pretty, but they won’t show your body shape and define you as skinny pants used to.

Cargo pants are amazing, not skinny or baggy. They are the perfect thing to wear to any occasion.

I love all colors, but I can’t accept navy blue, or orange on my pale skin in winter. In summer, white is my all-time favorite.
