14 YEAR-OLD LEBANESE SKIING CHAMPION by Silvio Mema EB8 C

Hello everyone! My name is Silvio Mema, and I’m going to show you how I became one of the biggest names in Alpine Skiing in Lebanon, I will also show every one of you some new skills in Alpine Skiing.

First of all, I’m going to talk about how everyone underestimated the skiing culture; it’s a very unique sport and only comes during the winter season. My dad introduced me to skiing back when I was only 4 years old.    I loved it ever since, and it’s been my biggest passion.

Since then, I joined the Lebanese Skiing Team and became a ski racer. I have met some of the best skiing buddies and friends. You should try it out, it’s never too late! 

After a few years of rigorous training and hundreds of races, I won my first race, and I started to become or gain popularity in Lebanon.


After that, the Lebanese Skiing Federation invited me to be a part of the European Championship in France and Spain to represent Lebanon.

Since then, my adventure in racing began, although I didn’t win the European Championship, it was one of the best experiences!

You can try it out yourself, even if you aren’t a racer; you could go for adventures with Friends in the Alps of Europe.

In conclusion, since then I became a huge ski racer, and my life brightened up!

Skiing is one of the best sports out there, so I recommend you give it a try.
